what about that idea, but we have it in the early 1900's or 1920's and incorporate the companies from the original Diplomacy and Domination, plus new ones. We could call it Transactions & Takeovers. I just thought i'd put this idea out here, because i talked about it a Long time ago in the nation game proposal thread on AH.com, and some people showed interest. I would prefer we create new companys. |

Actually, thinking it over it might be better to run my 2060 game instead of the corporate game. I'll be posting the history of the next fifty years tomorrow

How about some sort of post-apocalyptic, medieval-esque game? I'd love to actually get one that works properly.

I like the future idea too. Did north Korea invade China. In the first half of the 2020s, The PRC began flexing it's muscles. It was time for them to become a power projecting superpower, and they tackled the problem of North Korea. Militarily, the war went fine. Diplomatically, the post-war peace went well, with South Korea unifying the peninsula. Economically was where things went bad... A major Chinese firm greatly overestimated the new real estate markets available in the "Northern Military Territory of Korea". The Real Estate market burst and combined with a bad scandal at ICBC, the Chinese Economy was in dire straits... Combine that with the demographic crises that we can see on the horizon today, along with a big recession... Well things weren't looking good. The NPC flip-flopped and its corpulent government was unable to reach solutions... The 2020s saw the end of the PRC, and the emergence of the DRC, Democratic Republic of China... Yeah the 2020s weren't a very fun decade for anyone... and the 2040s definitely aren't. I can sum up the start of it in 6 words Iran intervenes in Bahrain, America withdraws. ...so that shit hitting the fan? |

Te problem with games like this is most of the world usually ends up empty with small player nations all spread out in a world without much back story. How about center on Europe and mabe North Africa/Levant? Could be a feudal Europe type game. |

Well I guess it could be centered around a certain section of land, which would help. If I had a CK style map handy, I could easily give it a try.

Hey guys, would any of you want to do a Europa Universalis-inspired Nations Game?
It would start in 1399, but continue into the early 20th Century, somewhere around the 1920's. Basically, it would cover the Renaissance, the Age of Discovery and Colonial Ages, the Victorian and Edwardian periods, and end shortly after World War I.
Many of the nations of Europe, the Middle East, East Asia, Africa, and the New World would be playable. From great powers such as France and the Ming Dynasty to minor nations such as the Knights Hospitaller and the Taino.
