So, regarding Heavy's decision to become a republic... I believe that goes directly against what the GM had said, and they have been a dominion for six years, and are preferring British protection due to the Japanese Empire close-by and Sino stability. British India was on its way out by the time the game's background begins to diverge from OTL history. The loss of India was inevitable, but after the Amritsar Massacre the clock was ticking even more rapidly. You will note that India did not leave the Commonwealth, it merely terminated its dominion status. And I am honestly not just going to not do that because you complained. |

Sure India has problems, but it isn't as if the people will think more British rule is going to fix it. OTL the Indian dominion lasted three years. It's not only that. I can point some like: Newfoundland still being separate of Canada The USA still controlling the Philippines Japan not controlling parts of China The Netherlands being a direct part of the German Reich instead of a puppet Communists in Yugoslavia Egypt not independent |

I assumed that The Philippines was independent but under American influence like OTL.
It is pretty much impossible for direct rule to last until the 60's, the American plan for the Philippines was always to leave when the Philippines was sufficiently prepared for independence.
Also, Egypt was already independent on paper before the game PoD, it just had an enormous amount of British economic and political influence.

I just realized there is some major inconsistencies with this map and the scenario itself that is just making me cry out loud. It wasn't really explained all that well  I still have no idea what kind of government Yugoslavia is, or the domestic situation of the country  |
