Goering's condition worsens. A new Fuhrer set to take office on July 1st.

Hermman Goering has officially resigned from it's position as Fuhrer of Germany due to it's increasing health problems. The Nation is shocked and sad to hear of it's resignations and all eyes now point to who will be his successor. A number of candidates have been put forward. Most notably two, Adolf Eichman and Alfred Speer the man behind the new Berlin.







At this point all indicates Eichman will get the spot but Speer's popularity has been on the rise ever since the mid-50's crisis.

Emmy Goring wife of the former Fuhrer calls for reason from Japan

In a address state on behalf of her husband the former Fuhrer Hermman Goring, former actress Emmy Goring has called for the Japanese regime to reason with China and to withdraw from the disputed Hainan region lest conflict occur between Japan and the Untied States. While asked on his husband's position on this matter the Lady Goring has stated that "while my husband has a great deal of respect and friendship towards our Japanese friends the matter is a genocide of the Chinese people will only serve to fuel the hatred of the world towards the Japanese Empire." Goring also mentions "that while Japan has been a long time ally and friend of the German Reich this is an entirely Chinese-Japanese matter and as such the United States Government should refrain from the recent aggressive diplomatic actions towards Tokyo which clearly hide second intentions." No response has yet been heard from the US Ambassador to Germany in response to this.

With General Fabrice settled into his role of the new leader of the National Republic of the Congo, he made sweeping announcements for the nation in what would come to be called the "Day of Edicts". Ranging from social, military, and economic areas, these edicts were meant by Fabrice to begin the new Modernization of the Congo. Many of his supporters, and those who still are mourning over the loss of the now god-like Mamba view these edicts as a possibility for the Congo to begin the steps toward becoming a force to be reckoned with.


-The first of these many changes came with the announcement of the creation of a federal education system, the system will focus on the teaching of survival skills, literacy, and morals to the children of the Congo. Attendance will be mandatory from the ages of 5 to 16 with offerings of those up to the ages of 20. Additionally, schools to support the program of education will be constructed in all major cities, and any other settlement within the nation of over 200 citizens. Transportation in the forms of trucks will be offered to those in outreaching areas. The edict was passed without any opposition.

-The second edict regarded the creation of a National Health Organization. Made possible by United States Assistance, the Organization will focus primarily on distributing vaccines to widespread diseases, as well as treating common illnesses that are rampant in the National Republic. To do this, a total of 350 health stations have been quickly constructed for the distribution of this aid, and once productivity is up to desirable levels, a mandatory vaccination process will be implemented, but for now it is optional yet strongly recommended by General Fabrice. Additionally, it is planned for the creation of the clean water initiative, in which clean water can be had within all of the Congo's cities.

-The Third edict creates the Congolese Betterment Initiative. The Initiative's focus will be primarily focused on the digging of wells, the making of roads, the clearing and fertilization of fields, the building of new homes within cities, and the aid in furthering of industrial capacities within the nation.

-The Fourth and final edict sets forth the new justice system of the land. In accordance with General Fabrice's orders, the National Police force was created in the capitol following the issuing of the edicts. This force will take orders directly from General Fabrice, and will issue penalties on those who have been proven, or strongly believed to have committed crimes. Also included in this edict were the actual punishments for certain crimes, that have until now, been simply left to the judgment of the one who punishes. Crimes such as Murder, attempted murder, Rape, kidnapping and other heinous crimes are punishable by the minimum of death. Crimes in regards to theft of government supplies will result in 70 lashes, theft of a citizens property will result in 50 lashes, and other crimes range from 50-40 lashes. Additionally, it is made abundantly clear that any misrepresentation of military service is punishable by 10 lashes, and the disobeying of military orders is punishable by death.

German Team ready for the UEFA Football Championships in France


The German National Team has finally arrived in France to compete in the first ever UEFA Euro 1960 Cup. The other opponents will be home team France, the USSR and Yugoslavia. The first match will oppose Germany and the Soviet Union one on one. The new Fuhrer will be in attendance himself to watch the match.




Albert Speer is the new Fuhrer of Germany

The successor to Fuhrer Goring has been found. Albert Speer former Minister of Armaments and the architect behind the new Berlin is the new Fuhrer of the Third Reich. Speer has promised to continue the work of his predecessors but also bring Germany into the new era and solve the problems and corruption of the previous Government. Among top quick priorities for the Speer's new government are the Hainan Crisis involving the Republic of China and the Empire of Japan as well as the students protests in Austria and the rumbling in the Netherlands. Negotiations begin with the Dutch under the Reich to decide the future of the area

In one of his first acts as Fuhrer Albert Speer has traveled to Amsterdam to discuss the future of the Netherlands as a whole with the leader of the Dutch National Socialist Party Johannes Heesters. The plan is the potential transition of the Netherlands to an independent state although one that would remain in the European Community of which Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Hungary are apart off. The mood is good as Heesters was a very close friend of Speer and Hitler and the Dutch people themselves salute Speer as a man of reason.

Romania to join the European Community?

At the same time Foreign Minister Lutz von Krosigk has traveled to Bucharest to meet his Romanian counterpart. On the table is the possible integration of Romania on the European Community. Von Krosigk has stated "Our relations with the Romanians have always been strong and so it isn't no secret we hope they accept our proposal to enter our growing Community."

About the Hainan situation Von Krosigk has basically stated "This is a matter between the Governments of China and Japan. The Greater German Reich hopes a peaceful solution that satisfies both parties can be reached."

The German Olympic Team looks ready to shine in this year's Summer Olympics after 18 medals in the last Winter Olympics early in January in Square Valley in the United States. Among them German 100 Meter Racer Armin Hary who many believe can finally end the domination of American Athletes in the 100 meters.
