To: The United States
CC: The Republic of China
From: The Republic of India
Secret:
If we may interject...
The Japanese are bonkers, they continue to hold their ill-gotten empire in Southeast Asia composed of over 100 million angry Indonesians and they're now busy talking big to a nation several times their size. They are now offering an extremely unfair and inequitable peace deal wherein they would strip Hainan of everything of value and leave the place a burned-out husk for the Chinese to reclaim.
The Japanese have never shown themselves to be a reasonable and civil member of the international community. They have the kind of power they do because everyone stood by and watched while they carved a deadly swath throughout Asia and nobody did a thing about it.
Why not change this now? Let us strike a blow for international freedom and roll back the blood tide of Japanese expansionism into Asia. If you need men with the skills and willpower to do this, then look no further than our humble republic.

To: India From: United Kingdom
We have looked at your proposal. We can agree to it for the most part; however Gwadar and the Maldives shall remain separate for the time being. Partially because we have no authority to sell you Gwadar anyway.
Also we can remove ground forces but would like to retain the port basing rights for the British navy. Of course we would give you advance warning before we move a large number of ships into your territory.
To: USA From: United Kingdom
secret:
Just so you know if you escalate things in the Pacific to war we will probably declare neutrality. We do not think Formosa is worth war over.

Internal Event All is not well with the FuhrerWe have just been informed that our great leader Hermman Goering has fallen ill. The people of Germania stand behind our leader as the situation isn't good on his health state. We only hope the Fuhrer can make a quick recovery. Student protests in Austria controlled by the policeIn response to the last months student protests and with the current illiness of Fuhrer Goering some within the Nazi Party namely the Moderate and the Military are calling for Goering's resignation. This group is being lead by none other than Wernher Von Braun the man behind the German Space Agency and the developer of the V-1 Rockets. In the mean time the police and SS have been dispatched to Austria to keep the situation under control. The result was the imprisonment of several students connected to the Austrian Communist Party and various other Nationalist Parties in Austria. Netherlands to gain autonomy? The situation is also growing unstable in the Netherlands as the Dutch are clamoring for more autonomy within the German Reich. It is known that the Moderates are willing to negotiate a compromise with the Dutch Leadership but the more extreme members of the Nazi Party aren't. The Dutch Government-in-exile in Aruba has stated there wish to see a return to there homeland Diplomacy:From: Greater German Reich To: Empire of Japan
Secret:We will accept that if German companies are also allowed free access to Japan. From: Greater German Reich To: Shah of Iran
Secret:Why do you keep someone like Mossdegh around? He is dangerous. My friend if you truly wish to see your nation prosper you must get rid of him. From: Greater German Reich To: Republic of India
Secret:The Japanese have expressed that they are willing to concede the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. From: Greater German Reich To: Laotian Nationalists
Secret:We are willing to support you. Tell us what you need. From: Greater German Reich To: United States of AmericaAnd how are you fine sirs in this day? Secret:
We find it funny you talk about oppression when the Philippines are still under your rule.

From the United States To Australia Secret*Insert OTL Planes from the 50's here --->* We could find our way to helping you start something up but in exchange we want basing rights in Darwin. That both helps us and helps you with the US Navy subsequently being added as an extra protective layer to your fine nation. To Australia From Empire of Japan We wish to sign a Non-Aggression pact with your country would you be willing to sign such a Treaty. Read more: nationgames.boards.net/index.cgi?board=nationgames&action=display&thread=31&page=2#ixzz2QxY7dEtf To: USA From: AustraliaSECRET Sure, you can have basing rights in Darwin. Thanks for your help. To:Japan From: AustraliaI'm afraid that we can't sign a nonaggression pact with someone who quite clearly is very belligerent - we would sign a NAP if you tone down the diplomatic rhetoric and stop acting like you're trying to incite a war. We like our backyard to be free of violent conflict and all that. To: Republic of China, Empire of Japan From: AustraliaWe'd be happy to host any talks between the two of you, so you won't be talking on contested territory. Also we will have to echo the sentiments of the international community - please don't start a war.

We never even publicly opposed it or even offered an opinion on the matter. If you think that you want to alienate yourself internationally by invading your largest and most valuable ally go ahead, but don't for a second think threatening us will help you in any way, shape or form. Just so you know war with Japan likely means war in Europe. Take a few seconds to consider the consequences of your brinksmanship. Is Formosa worth the death of 5 million? 50 million? How about all of human life? Because that is what could happen. For your sake, for the world's sake tread lightly.

From Richard Nixon To Charles Vyner Brooke
My wife recently read some of your wifes books and was absolutely taken with them and expressed a desire to meet with the famed White Rajah. I would therefore like to invite you to visit the United States as our guest and discuss things.
Secret
I would also love to hear what you know about Sarawak in terms of the people and how quickly they'd rise up if their Rajah asked them to.

From the United States To Britain Secret
An embargo would be wise however we do not see the Japanese simply caving in and vacating all their ill gotten gains. Gaining the Dutch East Indies solved a great deal of their oil and rubber issues and at the moment, they could survive an embargo for a number of years before beginning to crack. By that point, as shown by the last time they were embargoed, they will likely strike out, quite violently, and we'll be at war anyway.
Regarding Indochina, we're already working on that.
